Professionalism and excellence are the required yardsticks towards ensuring the growth in Nigeria’s vibrant ICT industry, remarks Bade Ayoade, the managing director of Edusoft Limited, a Nigerian mobile messaging and Web solutions firm.
Speaking in Lagos, Nigeria yesterday, Ayoade challenged stakeholders in the ICT industry to ensure strict adherence to international standards, especially in the area of qualitative service delivery.
While the ICT sector in Nigeria is growing, ICT professionals need to sustain the growth by deploying best tools and practices. He said: “We have the potentials to compete in the emerging global market and as a result, we should focus on raising the bar.”
According to Ayoade, Edusoft’s mission is to deliver qualitative and tested globally acclaimed solutions which will enhance operational efficiency of its teeming clients. He added that the company is poised to leverage on its pedigree to remain a major player in the ICT sector especially in sub-Saharan Africa.
