Cytrus Technology, a mobile and ecommerce development firm, has settled on a buyout plan with technology business company Methys Group.
The takeover will tremendously expand Methys Group business operation in South Africa, while Cytrus Technology will gain new markets.
“The combination of Methys and Cytrus will allow the group to be the first to provide a range of services focusing on enabling customers to successfully embrace the digital revolution and the changes associated with the increasing importance of Web, Mobile and Social Networks,” the companies said in a joint statement.
Gidon Judes, managing director of Cytrus Technology, exuded much confidence on the new buyout plan. He said that the company would greatly benefit from Methys Group and it would expand their horizon, to other countries such as France, Tunisia and the United Kingdom.
“The ever increasing consumer adoption of mobile services and social networks is triggering profound and irreversible changes in the business landscape of most brands and business models,” Christophe Viarnaud, Chairman of Methys commented on the acquisition.
