Telecommunications giant Globacom has revealed its latest modem, which allows users to share their subscriptions or give them as gifts.
Glo Bolt comes with two unique features which the company said would excite its subscribers. These are “Share Subscription” and “Gift Subscription”. These features allow Glo Bolt users to share their subscriptions or send subscriptions as gifts.
Glo Bolt is an updated version of Globacom’s popular Glo Netpro brand and provides a High Speed Internet (HSI) service that runs on High Speed Packet Acces (HSPA) supported and enabled by Glo 1 international submarine cable.
Ashutosh Tiwary, General Manager of Marketing at Globacom Nigeria, said the new modem is driven by its high speed and excellent performance.
He said: “The service offers users world-class internet service never before experienced in Nigeria and facilitates easy handling of internet applications on modems, tablets, smart phones and other devices. Our customers are assured of the best browsing experience and best value for money.”
The sharing feature offers subscribers convenience and affordability by allowing them to share their internet subscription with their friends, family and loved ones instead of buying multiple subscriptions.
Tiwary added: “For instance, a customer with wife and two kids can buy only one subscription plan and share with his three loved ones instead of buying four subscription plans. The beneficiaries will receive an SMS notifying them of the shared plan and how they can share the plan.”
