One of Cape Town’s printing firms is turning to technology to enhance their business, unveiling a new website to help users get their projects published.
The new service will be powered by Shop Direct, one of South Africa’s biggest shopping cart online store and has hosted over one thousand store fronts on its platform.
“No longer will a customer have to waste time standing in line now that they can buy prints online. To place an order all a client will need to do is go to the shop.assetprint.co.za site and follow easy steps,” the company said.
Customers will log onto the site, and choose the products they want printed. They can also choose the best print option that suits their needs, and submit online the artwork they want printed. They can also pay online thanks to the service of Shop Direct. It will take three to five days for the work to be delivered to a specified address.
“Thanks to the launch of our new Asset Print online print store we have not only given our clients a fast, safe and effective way to order, pay for and receive their printing, but we have also given them the chance to compare our prices online,” the owner and operator of Asset Print Michael Fortuin said.
“This will once and for all show our clients that we are determined to not only offer the best printing in Cape Town, but the most easily accessible and well-priced printing as well.”
Africa is set to see the combination of technology with traditional printing and publishing as the effect of hard copy publishing slowly fades away.
