Communication innovator Princeton Telecom is set to commercially launch MobileCockpit, a business solution tailored for smartphones for business people.
With MobileCockpit, business people can run professional software and programmes on their smartphones.
MobileCockpit offers other features such as classified ads for real estate, job and auto listings and a community builder. Users can also assign a global reach number and a social media platform with free voice and texting messaging between multiple customers across time zones and carrier networks.
“Small businesses can now make their mobile phone a single point of contact with all the features and functions of an office phone system,” says Dayo Owoseni, chairman and CTO at Princeton Telecom.
“MobileCockpit makes smartphones the hub of communications to a dispersed international community, linking immigrants and travelers to their home countries.”
Owoseni also said that the business suite will be available for their partners in North America and West Africa in the first quarter of 2013.
The West Africa launch is the first in a series of global product launches for Princeton Telecom, enabling e-commerce, financial transactions and business telecom services using the mobile handset – a potential paradigm shift for countries with low computer penetration, the company said.
The service will be available on Android, Blackberry and iOS smartphones.
