Google+ Hangouts have teamed up with the creators of British animation classic Wallace and Gromit to bring families together this festive season through a custom invitation builder.
“Tis the season for tree trimming, gift giving, recipe sharing and catching up with loved ones over a cup of eggnog,” said Kevin Maguire, Google’s Product Marketing Manager, in a post on Google’s official blog.
The custom invitation builder is designed for families who experience logistical challenges when coming together over the holidays and Hangouts can allow up to 10 people to join a conversation.
“Click this link to schedule your holiday family hangout and we’ll send all your invitations out with a custom Wallace and Gromit video,” said Maguire.
Through theHoliday Effects application, family members can add reindeer antlers, a Santa hat and Gromit’s ears to their invites.
