Joomla User Group Meetup

Silicon Cape VC Office Hours

VC Office Hours is a new monthly initiative by Silicon Cape where startups get a chance to ask an investor specific questions regarding the funding processes and aspects different of your entrepreneurship. The format of the sessions will be that six start-up teams and will get a 30-minute question slot on the first Friday of each month with a funder.

Net Prophet

Kipokezi Apps Challenge

Kipokezi App Challenge is a hackathon by ForgetMeNot Africa in partnership with iHub and Safaricom Kipokezi. It aims at empowering Kenyan developers to conceptualize new SMS applications or games utilizing the ForgetMeNot Africa Optimiser Platform. The event that began in February will end with a 3-day hackathon where winning teams and individuals will work and polish their ideas and win prizes.

g-Senegal is a 2-day Google event where the Google team meets community of developers, business leaders and entrepreneurs who are passionate about technology. The first day is dedicated to practical training sessions provided by Google engineers specializing in well-known tools (App Engine, Android, Google Maps, Google +, webmaster tools). The second day is for marketers, webmasters and entrepreneurs with presentations about general and technical, treat products and platforms, Google, and offer tips and trends.
