South African IT solutions provider Datacentrix has acquired network specialist eNetworks for an undisclosed amount as it seeks to improve its cloud computing capabilities.
A statement from Datacentrix said: “The acquisition provides Datacentrix access to highly skilled resources, electronic communications networks and licences, thereby strengthening Datacentrix’s capability to build, operate and provide network services.”
Datacentrix is a JSE-listed company with annual revenue exceeding ZAR1 billion (US$100 million).
eNetworks provides WAN services, online security, internet access provisioning and email services.
The two companies have until September 30 to meet the terms of the acquisition.
