Techno Brain, a software development company with operations in USA, UK and UAE, has announced plans to open an office in Uganda in May this year, a strategy expected to expand the firm’s African operations.
The IT solutions firm said it is working in conjunction with National IT Authority of Uganda (NITA-U) to open the new office inside the new BPO Incubation Center currently being set up in Uganda’s capital, Kampala, by the Government of Uganda.
The BPO Incubation center is the Government of Uganda’s initiative to develop BPO industry in Uganda and create more job opportunities for the local youth, said the company in a statement.
Manoj Shanker CEO Techno Brain Group said this will enable the firm expand its operations to a new location. He added that from the Uganda office, Techno Brain would be pursuing both new business and partnership opportunities, as well as continuing to serve our existing customers.
“Techno Brain’s BPO / ITES division has grown steadily over the last few years. Its objective is to promote outsourcing services by leveraging the local African talent pool with its well-developed ICT infrastructure,” he added
A leading IT solutions firm in Africa, Techno Brain will provide integrated IT outsourcing services and solutions including customer care, finance and accounting, human resources, knowledge services, order management and Web-based services to many of the local and International clients across Africa, USA and Asia.
It is also set to provide services including retail, insurance, mortgage, banking and financial services, healthcare, telecommunications, technology, travel and hospitality.
Shanker said the opening of its new office demonstrates its commitment to the region.
Techno Brain BPO / ITES boasts of a global presence with operations in Tanzania, Ethiopia, India, Kenya, Malawi, Mozambique, Rwanda, South Africa, UAE, Uganda, UK, USA, and Zambia.
The facility planned to host the firm has 70 operational seats in one shift and can support more than 180 operational seats across shifts on a daily basis for local and international clients.
