Zinox Technologies, Nigeria’s leading computer manufacturer, has introduced its Z-PAD series of tablet PCs into the Nigerian market.
The Z-PAD tablets, the company said, are in different sizes and will be available for commercial shipments from next month.
To enhance connectivity, Zinox said the tablets would be made available in Wi-Fi and 3G variants, targeted at the nation’s growing mobile workforce.
“The Z- PAD Android-based tablets are affordable, feature-rich tablets for people who want to be constantly connected wherever they are,” Zinox Group chairman Leo Stan Ekeh said. “The tablets have an upscale fit and finish, and are designed with longevity in mind with the right components so that customers will be just as delighted with their tablet one year from now, as they are on the day they take it out of the box.”
Z-PAD v 7 is the flagship of the series. It runs on i3 -3217U 1.80GHz processor and Intel vPro, with a 4GB Memory, slim detachable keyboard, 11-inch display screen and Windows 8 Pro. The device also supports GSM and has an active stylus option with 10 point capacitive multi touch. It also provides a 2-in-one flexibility with the convenience and power of an ultra-book.
Z- PAD v6 runs on a Dual core processor, is Android 4.2 JellyBean upgradeable, and has a 10-inch display with 1280×800 pixel resolution. It also boasts dual cameras (front and rear), supports GSM, and has a 10 point Capacitive Multi-touch and a long battery life- 8000mAh Li- polymer.
The Z-PAD v 5 has a Dual core processor, is Android 4.2 JellyBean upgradeable, with a 7-inch display with 1280×800 pixel resolution.
