Neotel-sponsored ‘Innovate Africa’ TV show to launch on CNBC Africa

Innovate Africa is to feature on the African business television news channel CNBC, sponsored by telecommunications company Neotel.

The show will air on CNBC Africa fortnightly and will be hosted by Natascha Jacobsz. The show will premier on Tuesday, February 12 at 21:30 Central African Time (CAT).

South African innovators have much to be proud of, according to the Southern African Innovation Network. Some of the achievements have already featured via online education platforms, in magazines and through other television documentaries.

“These brilliant people have indirectly touched the lives of so many, both at home and across the globe… Innovate Africa focuses on Africa specific technology innovations and inventions, highlighting Africa’s technology success stories,” said Godfrey Mutizwa, CNBC’s chief editor.

The Innovate Africa show will now showcase a wide range of topics aimed at exposing hidden innovative projects unleashing untapped potential throughout the continent.
