Safaricom appoints new head of public relations and corporate communication

Yoga-Odhiambo joins Safaricom from the ICEA LION Group where she served as communication and corporate affairs manager. She has more than 17 years’ experience in corporate communications, advertising, public affairs, corporate responsibility, strategic business planning, and crisis communications from various corporate organisations.

Safaricom said she will support director of corporate affairs Nzioka Waita with her PR team comprising of Ann Nderi and June Chepkemei as liaisons between Safaricom and the media.

They will be complemented by the team from Ogilvy Public Relations, which is the communications agency for Safaricom.
