Nokia’s Social Media Experience Manager, Ricc Webb, has described the manufacturer’s loss of its leading status in Nigeria and other parts of the world as a good thing for the company.
According to Webb, speaking this afternoon at Social Media Week Lagos, Nokia is back to the drawing board and rigorously researching new ways to regain its lost glory in the mobile phone market.
Instead of relying on its past successes, he said the company has seen strong challenges from other companies, including Samsung and Apple.
These companies he said were able to outsmart Nokia in gaining more control over the market.
He however added the company is evolving and confident in the ability of its new products to return it to its former leading mobile phone company.
