Afrinolly, the company behind popular online African movie app Fans Connect Online has achieved and crossed the two million app downloads.
The company has seen a progressive growth rate in terms of downloads across Africa since September 2011.
Nigeria is reported to have the largest share of the app downloads with 70 percent of the downloads coming from the West African country.
HumanIPO reported yesterday public voting had opened for Afrinolly’s Short Film Competition which sees 20 finalists compete for the public’s vote in two categories, Short Film and Documentary.
The competition was launched last year and focusses on the next generation of African filmmakers.
