Samsung East Africa has launched the Galaxy Grand 2 into the Kenyan market at a retail price of KSh37,999 (US$440) at all authorised Samsung dealers countrywide.
The Galaxy Grand 2 is an upgrade on the Galaxy Grand and offers a large-screen experience on a slim, compact smartphone. The company said the dual-SIM capabilities of the Galaxy Grand 2 help users maintain a better work-life balance, share content, and switch seamlessly between networks.
“Grand 2 also comes with the exciting Group Play feature that allows a user to share pictures, documents, games and even listen to songs with friends. This feature, as well as the Story Album feature, which challenges a user to get creative by keeping a timeline, sending special messages and remembering special events, generates a thrilling Galaxy Grand 2 experience,” said Samsung.
“In addition to this, it also comes with the S Translator that can translate almost everything at any time hence removing any language barriers therefore making communication a lot simpler and S Travel which provides guides and travel information for any planned trips.”
The smartphone also includes a 5.25-inch screen with 16:9 HD ratio to amplify the user’s viewing experience, which allows for more apps and windows to be used simultaneously.
