Airtel Nigeria has announced a partnership with restaurant chain Sweet Sensation, allowing subscribers to access electronic airtime recharge at all the chain’s outlets.
The partnership signifies the launch of a service called ‘Refresh and Recharge’, which was officially unveiled at an event held at the Sweet Sensation’s head office in Lagos.
Adebayo Osinowo, Lagos regional operations director for Airtel Nigeria, said the network is still the most innovative in terms of offerings to Nigerians as evident in the introduction of ‘Refresh and Recharge’ for its customers.
“The service, which is first of its kind in telecommunications products and services in Nigeria, was borne out of the need to give customers of Airtel Nigeria quality service as well as convenience and value,” he said.
“Each time Airtel customers walk into any Sweet Sensation outlet to get their meals, they can also top up their lines with Airtel Easy Recharge, which is a convenient, time-saving and secure way to get airtime without scratching cards.”
Kehinde Kamson, managing director of Sweet Sensation, said the partnership would improve value added services for both companies.
“The strategic alliance between these two leading brands is definitely a drive towards delivery of quality and excellent services to Nigerians as it prioritises the need of customers of both Airtel and Sweet Sensation,” she said.
