Samsung Galaxy S5 unveiled in Kenya

Samsung Electronics East Africa has unveiled the its Galaxy S5 device in Kenya as it capitalises on consumers’ increasing demand for health apps.

The device has arrived in Kenya and has been in stores across the country through Samsung’s retail channels, e-commerce and mobile operators from Friday April 11.

Robert Ngeru, vice president and chief operating officer (COO) of Samsung East Africa, said: “With the Galaxy S5, Samsung is going back to basics to focus on delivering the capabilities that matter most to our consumers… consumers are looking for mobile tools that inspire and support them as they improve their everyday lives.”

The Galaxy S5 is targeting the tech savvy generation, combining an advanced camera, fast network connectivity, dedicated fitness tools and enhanced device protection features.
