African online learning platforms Tutor.ng and Sterio.me have partnered to launch a full-stack mobile learning experience across Nigeria, including SMS and voice based VAS mobile education services using the Sterio.me platform and e-learning via the mobile web and the Tutor.ng app.
“The partnership offering will include specifically crafted SMS and voice content for mobile language learning, health, spiritual and agricultural content, as well as translation and dictionary services. The SMS and voice content can be accessed from any type of phone and the Tutor.ng e-learning applications can be accessed from any smart phone device. Payment with airtime will be enabled via a shortcode,” Tutor.ng said.
With the offering, they companies said more people irrespective of their class or location will be able to access education as long as there is GSM signal.
