The Nokia XL smartphone has officially launched in Kenya, promising users extra value with features including a five-inch display and five megapixel autofocus camera.
The smartphone also includes Microsoft OneDrive, which allows users to access important files or photos on an internet connected device, as well as a tile-based home screen and a Fastlane feature that allows for switching between favourite apps smoothly.
“Nokia X certainly turned heads when it entered the Kenyan market and it is great to be able to grow the range so quickly. Adding Nokia XL to the range adds a real quality, affordable smart phone to the Microsoft device family,” said Bruce Howe, general manager for East Africa of Microsoft Devices.
“With a beautiful, large screen, front facing camera and flash, the value it brings at the price is sure to win over a lot of admirers.”
The device which will retail at KSh15,500 (US$180) and is available in black, orange, white, yellow and green.
