Vodafone Ghana has said it recorded a nationwide outage on its network, affecting calls, credit recharge and internet access, in the early hours of yesterday.
The outage affected all prepaid subscribers, who could not top up airtime via recharge cards.
Admitting to the outage, the network in a statement posted on its official Facebook page said it affected its entire mobile and landline subscriber base.
“We are experiencing a nationwide outage, and this is affecting voice calls, text messages, and internet browsing for our entire mobile and landline customers. Please be assured that all hands are on deck to ensure the problem is resolved as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience, and we sincerely apologise for the inconvenience. We will provide you with regular updates,” Vodafone said.
