Vodafone Ghana has restored services on its network after suffering a nationwide outage earlier this week, affecting landline and mobile platforms.
HumanIPO reported yesterday on the outage, but Vodafone said it had now identified the root cause and resolved it.
Chief executive officer (CEO) Haris Broumidis said a full scale investigation into the outage is underway and the network would submit a detailed report to Ghana’s National Communications Authority (NCA).
“We regret the inconvenience caused by the network outage experienced yesterday and we sincerely apologise to all our customers. Service is now restored and all our customers should be able to make and receive calls, send text messages and browse the internet,” he said.
