Ooredoo, HP sign co-marketing agreement for cloud services in Tunisia

Ooredoo and HP have signed a co-marketing agreement called the Cloud Agile Program to offer cloud services to business customers in Tunisia.

Mohamed Fadhel Graiet, head of marketing companies at Ooredoo said businesses in Tunisia will be able to benefit from cloud services.

“With this new range of offers, businesses can benefit from cloud in the form of services rather than physical investment in their establishments. Services consume their savings buying large servers that may fail or run out of memory. Providing services tailored according to formulas is both cheaper and more effective,” he said.

Ken Campbell, chief executive officer (CEO) of Ooredoo said the company is aware of the importance of cloud solutions in professional circles.

“This launch is to strengthen our strategy that prioritizes meeting the needs of our customers and providing practical solutions to businesses to help them grow their projects and to adapt to technological developments,” he said.

Xavier Gouyou Fish, vice president of Cloud Computing HP, said the agreement is a form of partnership and not competition.

“Opening Ooredoo cloud services based on HP technologies is an important step that will allow businesses and Tunisian organisations to respond effectively to their issues of agility and cost optimisation, while not yielding their requirements for performance, security and availability,” he said.

He said the most important thing is to develop a business partnership by focusing on market dynamics.

“HP with its network of partners can only welcome this agreement with Ooredoo,” he said.
