SA eCommerce Conference speakers announced

Speakers for this year’s eCommerce Conference in South Africa have been announced, featuring global representatives from industry leading firms.

The conference, which will be held on September 4 in Johannesburg, will feature talks on global retail trends, South African e-commerce and internet usage, African mobile commerce and developments in online payments.

“The 2014 South African eCommerce Conference is an opportunity for anyone who wants to learn more about eCommerce in South Africa. Any business owner that is currently running any online retail, commerce activity or anyone planning to operate within the eCommerce space will gain valuable insight from local and international industry leaders,” said Andy Higgins, managing director (MD) at uAfrica.com.

Local speakers include country director of Google South Africa Luke Mckend and head of technology research company World Wide Worx Arthur Goldstuck

International addresses will be given by John Lawson (USA), founder of e-commerce training agency Colderice Media, Brennan Loh (Canada), head of business development at Shopify, Paul Greenberg (Australia), executive chairman and chief executive officer (CEO) of The Voice of New Retail, Warrick Godfrey (Ireland), vertical specialist in eCommerce for Facebook Sub-Sahara and Malvina Goldfeld (Israel), head of business development Africa at PayPal.
