Kenyan Minister of ICT cabinet secretary Dr Fred Matiangi could be impeached if a motion set to be filed in parliament goes through.
Samburu West member of parliament (MP) Jonathan Lele-Lit is the man spearheading the motion, and has already started collecting signatures from MPs, some of whom have accused Matiangi of being arrogant when exercising his duties.
According to sources, the move to impeach Matiangi will be kept quiet to avoid MPs being called upon by the executive to discard.
The MPs want to file the motion only when it is too late for the executive to compel them to withdraw it.
All this comes against the backdrop of Jubilee MPs asking president Uhuru Kenyatta in a meeting at State House to sack all ‘useless’ ministers.
