Mobile operator MTN has shuffled its leadership in Nigeria and Uganda, saying the move will strengthen its leadership core.
Former chief executive officer (CEO) of MTN Uganda Mazen Mroue has been appointed as chief operating officer (COO) of MTN Irancell.
Brian Gouldie, former chief marketing officer (CMO) of MTN South Africa, succeeds Mroue, while Ferdi Moolman, COO of MTN Irancell, has been appointed as chief financial officer (CFO) at MTN Nigeria.
“We are delighted that we are able to fill these executive management positions from within our leadership ranks, in line with our leadership development strategy,” said Sifiso Dabengwa, MTN Group president and CEO.
