South Africa’s Absa Bank has been experiencing downtime on its internet banking platform, with customers taking to social media to express their frustration.
Users trying to access their internet banking service are directed to a webpage saying: “The Absa Internet Banking website is currently unavailable. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.”
HumanIPO reported earlier this month the bank’s online services were down.
“Our digital banking services are offline. We apologise sincerely. No defined timeline on a resolution, our technicians are working on a fix,” Absa said to its customers earlier this month.
It has again had apologise to customers over social media, saying: “Our technicians are currently trying to find out what caused this.”
Customers have once again expressed frustration at the recurrent technical problems.
“Absa internet banking! A nite-mare!!! Systems have been down forever!” one user tweeted.
“Why is your internet banking site down again?” said another.
