Vodacom has announced another prepaid tariff plan, seemingly in response to MTN’s One Rate.
HumanIPO reported earlier this month rival South African mobile networks MTN, Vodacom and 8ta had slashed the prices of their prepaid tariffs.
Vodacom have now brought out another offering, Anytime Per Second, which will bill people ZAR1.20 per minute (or 2c per second).
The operator said: “Vodacom’s latest offer is a simple flat rate plan offering anytime calling to any network across South Africa.”
The plan also offers 60 minutes of free calls between midnight and 5am all week whenever a user loads ZAR12 of time or more.
