Kim Kardashian’s abusive ‘tweet’ causes major Nigerian uproar

A tweet supposedly posted by American reality TV star, Kim Kardashian, has sprouted a major social media outrage in Nigeria.

In the tweet, Kardashian allegedly described Nigeria as a disgusting country.

“Nigeria is such a disgusting country. I couldn’t wait to leave. lol Scott said their women look like apes and I agree,” she said in the controversial tweet.

There is however no evidence of the tweet on her timeline, suggesting it was doctored.

In a swift response, Nigerians have taken to social media, especially Twitter to vent their anger concerning the tweet.

Oh Lord Kim K about to have the whole Nigerian nation attack her …..she better be ready for this one

NaijaCyberHactivists further added that the tweet was doctored by the person that owns the Twitter handle @chuckicheese.

After all said & done, @chuckicheese doctored the Kim K tweet :). Another attempt to distract us from the ills of the country. #PDP_Agent :D

HumanIPO also discovered the tweet was sent from an unconfirmed Twitter account suggesting the sender was not Kardashian who has a confirmed Twitter handle.

This is not the first time Kardashian has been be at the center of controversies in Nigeria. Similar online outrages welcomed the news of the US$500,000 fee she got from the organisers of a show she hosted for around two hours in Lagos.
