Our last post introduces a startup based in Denmark called Echo It that has a nice philosophy – experimenting whether social media can increase the good we have inside us.
Some may be susceptible about the means – why brag about the good we do, instead of just doing it? But then there is also an option to share a good deed somebody did for you.
And also – in addition to all of the bad things we hear every day which give voice to warlords, recession-boosters, unemployment-helpers and bullies why not notice and talk about the little nice nothings we do to our family members, colleagues or perfect strangers every day?
So, we tried and brought back cupcakes to all of the people in our office from a new deli in town. Made them smile at least.
