Tecno is currently the leading dual SIM mobile phone brand in countries where it has established a presence, including Nigeria, Kenya and Ghana, with the company expressing its commitment and dedication to the provision of versatile and high quality phones for its customers.
Speaking in Lagos, Boukali Mounir, public relations manager, said the company’s brands rose to the top three mobile phone brands in Africa in 2010.
Mounir said the global manufacturer understands the continent’s dynamic smartphone market.
“With our operations base in Dubai and research and development facilities in France, Tecno is a truly global company, with a deep understanding of the dynamic and exciting African smartphone market,” Mounir said.
He said the company sees Africa as a major mobile phones market which was the reason why the company launched its devices across the continent in 2008.
“Within a few years, Tecno has achieved success with its outstanding and unique marketing strategy, and has now become one of the most popular mobile phone brands in many countries in Africa,” he said.
He also described the company’s meteoric rise in the various African phone markets.
In a statement made available to HumanIPO, Mounir said: “In a couple of weeks we will launch a series of our new product range in Nigeria.
“Tecno’s mobile phones have the reputation of excellent service in Africa all the time, and we will further solidify our leading position in the dual SIM mobile phone market with our durable and stylish mobile phones.”
