Samsung is blaming its delayed launch of the Galaxy S4 in the US on “overwhelming global demand”.
The South Korean manufacturer unveiled its latest device, which features the much anticipated eye-scroll technology, last month, but T-Mobile will only begin taking pre-orders on Monday, April 29, while Spring will only sell the phones in its outlets as it becomes available.
Samsung said in a statement: “Due to overwhelming global demand of Galaxy S4, the initial supply may be limited. We expect to fulfil inventory to meet demands in the coming weeks.”
HumanIPO reported on Wednesday Safaricom, in Kenya, was already taking pre-orders, while South African operator Cell C has unveiled its packages.
