First National Bank (FNB) has added the Samsung Galaxy S4 to its range of smartphones in a deal worth more than ZAR6,000 (US$656), valid until June 30.
“New customers who switch to FNB can get the Samsung Galaxy S4 at a 16 percent discount with 24 months to pay,” said Kartik Mistry, head of smart devices at FNB’s core banking solutions.
“We have also included various data options in this deal to enable digital banking, and have included voice to meet our client demand.”
FNB customers who apply for the deal before the June deadline will also receive 100 minutes,100 SMS and 100 megabytes of data per month for 24 months as well as one gigabyte “AlwaysOn” Wi-Fi connectivity for 24 months.
Furthermore, FNB has added a Samsung Hub voucher worth ZAR300 (US$33) and an optional extra of 35 percent discount on accessories.
“FNB offers value for over ZAR6,000 and also ensures that clients can connect as and when they want to,” said Mistry.
The FNB Samsung S4 deal costs ZAR299 (US$33) with no additional charge, fees or interest.
FNB has warned that stock will initially be limited due to the expected high demand. Those wanting to take up the offer can do so by SMSing “data” to 31138. Standard network rates and terms and conditions apply.
