Google Play Books has been updated to allow users to upload e-books and other documents to create an online library.
The new version will allow users to access their e-books and documents on smartphones, and tablets. Users can upload files of not more than 50MB or import from Google Drive.
The Web giant announced on Wednesday that files uploaded to the library will be readable on the Web, and also Android and iOS smartphones and tablets.
The data merging system, which files page positions, bookmarks and notes, will allow users to receive updates of the most recent information, thus enabling a user to continue reading from where they left.
The online library can also be shared with numerous devices.
