ForgetMeNot Africa has finally announced the shortlisted developers set to proceed to the final stage of the ZeTXT Apps Challenge.
The Apps Challenge Test Drive Final will be held in Harare over the weekend beginning from June 16, 2012 where shortlisted teams and individuals will work and polish their ideas with mentors from ForgetMeNot Africa.
The contestants include:
- Lloyd Zakeo – SMS Dictionary
- Gedion Moyo – Shambadza
- Taurai Benhura – MOJO
- Ndafara Tsamba – SMS Assistant
- Tawanda Kembo – I Paid a Bribe
- Douglas Chifetete – mTutor
- Tanaka Mutakwa – Musikawedu (Our Market Place)
The shortlisted developers are urged to work to ensure their app is polished and working well by using the “FMNA Sandbox Testing App” (http://api.forgetmenotafrica.com).
At the event, each team will present its final idea, business case and code to the judging panel and the winner will be announced. Only one winner will be announced although all other approved apps would be published.
Those who did not make it to the final stage can however still submit their apps for an opportunity to be launched after the competition deadline has passed.
