South African mobile operator Cell C has launched the Straight Up Infinity Package for its contract customers, available with all smartphones.
The Straight Up Infinity Package will cost ZAR999 (US$99) per month, but customers will be tied into a 24-month contract.
Jose Dos Santon, Cell C chief commercial officer (CCO), said: “With the boom in smartphones, customers have been asking for a product that meets their fast-growing data requirements. Cell C has made the unprecedented move to include a large volume of data that is usually associated with pure data contracts.”
The contract includes 3GB of data per month and unlimited Cell C to Cell C calls, with calls to other networks costing 99c per minute.
The deal is available on all smartphones available through Cell C, including the iPhone 5, BlackBerry Q10 and Samsung Galaxy S4.
