The US-Tunisia-Morocco (USTM) and the North American-Tunisian Engineers Group (NATEG) have partnered to scale up the skills of entrepreneurs in North Africa.
The partnership aims to make the region’s engineers well rounded and savvy with entrepreneurial and networking skills.
To two have since scheduled a four-day meeting dubbed “Education-University-Partnership Days of entrepreneurship and innovation” in Monastir from July 15
Leaders from the Tunisian and Moroccan private sector, engineering students, lecturers and tutors, and entrepreneurs from the two countries and the US are expected to attend.
The conference will cover research, development and marketing of innovative products as well as networking training and practical sessions.
More than 300 engineering students and lecturers from Tunisia, Morocco and the US hace already confirmed attendance. The conference’s last two days will feature intensive entrepreneurship workshops.
USTM works in partnership with the Polytechnic School of Tunisia, the Cadi Ayyad University of Marrakech, and the Tunisian-American Association of young professionals.
