Today we are glad to announce some changes on HumanIPO to improve startup profiles and make it easier to gain visibility.
First, we have simplified inviting people to follow your startup. Now you can just share an URL link with the people you want to follow your startup or to join your team/working group. Simply go on on your startup profile and click Invite people to Follow, and share the URL via e-mail/IM etc. People who click on the link will land on a special invitation page. Easy as that.
And a relevant notice for startup owners. We have restructured and limited the startup profile page fields. Why? Because less is more, and we believe it is important for a startup to keep its teaser short and clear to be able to get the best possible feedback, more visibility and get connected to the right people.
In addition, to keep the focus of your startup pitch sharp, we have split up the previously “Pitch” field to 3 more specific fields: What problem you’re solving?*, What is your solution?*, How do you make money?* This will guarantee you will get the most important questions about your startup covered.
So we kindly ask all the startup owners to give it a look and quickly go through the fields.
