The US-based AirTouch has since distributed over 1000 units of X1500 wireless device to UniCell Ghana Limited, set to be sold to Ghana’s mobile operators including Airtel, Tigo, Glo and Vodafone.

UniCell has been providing fixed-based cellular phones and other telecommunications solutions for over five years to Vodafone, Airtel, Tigo, and Glo in fixed.
According to AirTouch, UniCell will be responsible for the installation of the devices in both the homes and offices of their customers in several ECOWAS countries.
