Nokia has released three new handsets – the Nokia 207, Nokia 208 and Nokia 208 – in dual SIM, capable of achieving 3.5G internet speeds.
The devices come with popular social apps, smarter imaging and productivity features that ensure the gadgets are both suited for business and personal uses including internet sharing and mail for exchange support.
Timo Toikkanen, Nokia’s executive vice president for mobile phones, said the gadgets combine the traditional phones and smartphone experience in one device.
“The Nokia 207 and Nokia 208 are designed for people who like a classic phone and traditional keypad, but don’t want to miss out on smartphone experiences, like staying connected to social media and accessing the internet,” Toikkanen said.
“As our most affordable 3G devices yet, the Nokia 207 and Nokia 208 offer a perfect balance of performance, features and quality.”
The devices also have data compression available through Nokia Xpress Browser helping users access the internet at lower cost especially for social media lovers while the devices can also be used as a portable modem.
The Nokia 208 comes with smart camera features including voice-guided self portrait, panorama mode and sequential shot, while photos can be shared through the Slam feature.
The Nokia 208 and 207 will retail at US$68 and are expected to start selling in Europe in the third quarter of 2013.
