An Irish hacker who brought down the Nigerian government website last week threatened to attack more of the country’s state websites, before suspending the action after 40 children died in an unrelated extremist attack.
@PaddyHack brought down www.nigeria.gov.ng on Thursday last week, but they have since halted the action.

The hack attack was in protest against the government’s legislation making homosexuality illegal.
Today he added:
For the next seven days, I shall only be tweeting pictures of celebrity chefs.

In a swift response, the Nigerian government has however said it has taken measures to avert future attacks.
