Nigeria’s Visafone Communications, a leading Code Division and Multiple Access (CDMA) operator has launched a free service, that will see its subscribers enjoy free WiFi hotspots all over Nigeria.
This, according to a statement released on the same, is to provide an opportunity for Visafone customers to enjoy unbeatable and superfast Visa internet free browsing on their diverse devices.
The Managing Director of Visafone, Sailesh Iyer said: “Visafone customers can walk into any of the 18 designated Visafone Major shops across Nigeria between 8.00am to 6.00pm; Mondays to Fridays with their laptops, iPads, iPhones, tablets and other WiFi-enabled devices to enjoy a superb browsing experience.”
Lynda Amechi, the Head of Customer Care of Visafone added by saying: “This is another initiative designed to give our customers greater joy in choosing to partner with us.”
She urged Visafone customers to take advantage of the new offering, and maximize the joy of communication.
Visafone Communications Ltd was born out of the strategic acquisition of 3 CDMA mobile network operators that had been in operation for up to 8 years with 30,000 subscribers and coverage in different parts of Nigeria. It then amassed over 3 million subscribers after 16 months of operation and crossed the 1million subscriber mark in just 6 months from its launch in February 2008.
