Ian Isherwood, founder of Kenya’s first online dating site DateMe Kenya, has lauded the ongoing tech revolution in Africa saying that there are many possibilities for people with websites.
Isherwood told HumanIPO days after he launched his new site, which had already recorded 5,000 fans on its Facebook fan page after 12 days.
“DateMe Kenya has been launched at exactly the right time. Africa and Kenya are growing and growing and the technology revolution will only mean more and more people will embrace the DateMe idea and drive it towards its goal of becoming Africa’s best dating website,” said Isherwood.
“It’s an exciting time for any new site here in Africa. The possibilities are mind-blowing.”
DateMe Kenya went live on Saturday morning and will use a “sophisticated” system to match its members who will be like-minded professionals.
