Safaricom has revealed that it is negotiating to bring more Huawei gadgets in the country.
During the launch of the latest Huawei product, Ideos Ascend Y100, Safaricom revealed that it is in price negotiation to bring more gadgets from the China based company.
This could mean that gadgets will be at a lower price due to the competition that will be introduced. Some of the gadgets include: Huawei Vision, Huawei P1 Slim, Huawei Ascend Y200 and Huawei Mediapad tablet.
The Huawei Honor is something Safaricom is actually eyeing at the moment. Safaricom is said to be negotiating the price of the smartphone.
Safaricom said that the Huawei Ideos phone has now sold over 200,000 units. The Huawei Ideos phones offer consumer a cheap introduction into smartphones.
The recent Huawei device, Ideos Ascend Y100 has great features including: Android operating system 2.3 Gingerbread, 2GB internal memory, 8 inch TFT Capacitive touchscreen, 320 by 240 display, 10.9mm slim 3.2 MP camera (with video record/replay)with 3G data speeds.
Recently there has been a war in the smartphone market with players like Samsung and LG trying to cut a good market share, all for the benefit to the consumers who are spoilt for choice with ever dropping prices.
