Telecoms giant Bharti Airtel will partner with Hewlett-Packard (Hp) to ensure that their customers can access and enjoy using their cloud services in “a business perspective.”
The cloud services between the two companies will offer customers several services including email, accounting packages, business software and storage in order to empower them in their business.
The business section in Airtel is responsible for all business opportunity in the cellophane industry including M-commerce, M-health and M-advertising. It is rebranded as B2B (Business to Business).
The Bharti Enterprises 2011 financial year was at 52.7 percent. With the latest development, it will be another significant development in the business sector.
Small enterprises entrepreneur (SMEs), large business, government and private firms will likely benefit from the company. Their customers will benefit from quality and prompt services offered by cloud.
In the five years partnership, Bharti Airtel which operates in South Asia and Africa, offers 2G,3G and 4G. The company is ranked as the fifth largest telecom operator globally and will market the clouding services for HP.
This will lead to innovation of new services including accounting software, storage and business software to meet the needs of Airtel’s customers.
Bharti Airtel IT Director Amrita Gangotra says these are basic services but with time, the company will expand to more specialized aspects comprising of healthcare and education applications on the cloud.
The company has had a number of innovation projects in Africa including mobile phone services, wide option of gadgets and mobile banking. According to experts, Asia and Africa have benefited “extensively” from its services.
HP provides information communication technology (ICT) solutions including software, computing equipments, HP Enterprise Business, data centers, security, and cloud services globally.
