Eskimi starts mobile money marketing platform in Nigeria

Eskimi, a fiercely competitive Lithuanian startup with an estimated 7 million customers now, has half of its audience from Nigeria.

Following Eskimi’s launch of a money market platform, the social network aims to bring e-commerce to its Nigerian customers via special tools.

The platform will afford Eskimi customers the opportunity to buy and test the new payment option. The objective is to provide a cashless solution, which includes a host of music, movie and mobile content thus enabling brands to join the initiative and create a market within Nigeria and the rest of Africa.

The brands would also found utility in market researches on customer relations or habits, via the platform.

Future developments include, performing activity and retention campaigns, together with content partners or money market operators.

Eskimi is currently recruiting sales teams in Nigeria and Ghana, and is also expanding in other African markets.
