Socialbakers have released a report which puts Kenya at number two on the countries with socially devoted brands on Facebook.
On the report, South Africa comes in at a global position of sixth. Kenya and South Africa are the only African countries represented on the top 20 countries that have responsive brands on Facebook.
In terms of continents, North Europe and Latin America occupy the first and second positions respectively.
The research was done by Socialbakers, a site that does research on how brands and regions use the social media to spur their agenda.
The research took three months and it leveraged on the percentage on which brands reply customers questions via Facebook. Kenya had a response level of 83 percent coming in second after Norway, which had a response with 87 percent. South Africa had a response rate of 73 percent.
This is welcomed news to brands in the two African countries that it can level against advanced countries in Europe and the Americas.
