The second Africa IT Infrastructure Summit is slated for Cape Town, South Africa from July 12 to 13. Africa’s top techno players are now gearing up for the event.
This will be the second edition of the summit that offers a business-to-business venue for IT executives and industry thought leaders to “share, network and engage in interactive focused sessions” with other industry players, peers, government officials, senior executives and international guest speakers.
Well-known speakers in the IT industry are expected to attend the event. The summit will address today’s top infrastructure and operations issues, and technological advancements impacting your enterprise with strategic guidance and actionable tactics,” ITI organizers said.
Some of the agenda for the conference is to discuss about IT infrastructure around the continent and the best practices in developing the IT industry.
Delegates will showcase their solutions and innovations during the conference.
Some of the speakers expected at this year’s conference include Mrs. GNM Pandor, MP, Minister, Science & Technology South Africa, Lloyd Jones Executive Manager Projects for Eskom Group IT, Jenny McKinnell Executive Director of the Cape IT Initiative, Douglas Gelderbloem Manager of ICT Infrastructure at the City of Cape Town among many others.
The theme for this year’s summit is “Developing a world-class cyber infrastructure.”
The Westin Hotel in Cape Town will host the event.
