ZTE, a telecommunications equipment and network solutions firm, has won the CISO award 2012 for excelling in information security and network solutions supply.
The firm bagged the award for providing Information Security Solutions and Network & IT deployment model capable of addressing vast security complexity issues. The tool also monitors all clients’ network and blocks all the threats.
While receiving the award, ZTE India CIO Pradeep K Yadav said: “This is a great achievement to the company and also an indication of us closer to becoming a trusted partner for various telecom players in the country.”
He further emphasized the importance of having a network and IT infrastructure with high level data and channel encoding as well as generating the best forensic logs for ‘0 Security incidence’.
ZTE is a Chinese company that offers telecommunications equipment for wireless, exchange, access, optical transmission, data telecommunication and mobile manufacture systems with its headquarters in Shenzhen, China. In 2011, it was ranked as the world’s fourth largest mobile phone manufacturer .
The company provides its services to African countries. In Kenya, it has constructed optical fibre transmission on behalf of Kenya telecommunication system, which “allows high speed Internet connectivity.”

This year’s ward was organized by expert from the Defence Department, New Technology Research Organization and the DoT, Government of India.
