HP debuts high-end laptop in Kenya’s PC market

Hewlett Packard, the world’s leading computer maker, has announced the launch of HP Envy Spectre XT into the Kenyan market.

The company said it has scored in fulfilling the dynamic needs of its Kenyan consumers.

“HP Envy Spectre XT fits even more seamlessly into their diverse lifestyles,” HP said.

The HP Envy Spectre XT is a stylish thin and light Ultrabook for professional individuals. The machine boasts of an 8-hour battery life, runs on Intel third generation processor and offers ultimate data protection.

The slim machine does not compromise on its performance at all. The HP CoolSense technology helps the laptop to adjust the temperature depending on the location giving the machine optimum functionality.

Issam Essadiqi, Africa Director and General Manager for HP’s Printing and Personal Systems Group (PPS) in the EMEA region, said, “We continue to research, we continue to innovate, and we continue to develop and you can clearly see the end results of these efforts today. But we will not rest on our laurels, and we continue to redefine our user experiences.”

Performance, reliability and design remain critical in the conceptualization and design of our machines, HP promises.

The laptop’s price is tagged at KSh96,000 (approx US$1,130).
