Light users and heavy users of YouTube classify what they gain from the service. It’s entertaining, it’s modern, it’s up to date, it’s comprehensive and it’s global, are the top five traits they gave to YouTube.

The top five activities on YouTube include: To be up to date (83 percent), Listen to Music (51 percent)Watch music video clips (47 percent), to see professionally made videos (44 percent) and to relax (36 percent).

The most surprising stats to come out is that majority of the users are not registered on YouTube. The service does not require you to sign up to view videos only when uploading videos. Only 18 percent of users have registered.
